What if Internet didn't exist?
What if it Works?
Only since 20 years ago, the internet had made some pretty big booms. Google was founded, and then came everything, maps, phones, and trackers, you name it. It's actually amazing if you think about it.
What happened when we didn't have the internet? I mean people were still able to get information around. Even without social media.
So how did they do it? Well, mostly through one person, to another person, to another person, and then it went on, and on. Until it got to you. Then by that time, the story might have changed, and it might even be totally made up.
It's not like that nowadays ... right? Well, it never really changed. True, we have internet and computers, and we could track down the source until we get to the real story ... but then what fun would it be if the story wasn't so exciting as you wanted it to be?
What if you wanted it to be more exciting than just a robbery of a candy store? What if you wanted to change it around, and be a fully armed robbery at Walmart that kill 12 people? Wouldn't that catch people's eyes?
That's what I'm saying. There could be a really exciting news story that you could talk about for days ... but then half of it could be fake and embellished. Not even embellished, half of it could be made up.
So you can't always trust the news with this stuff. So news didn't really change since the internet came in ... what did? Well, there is good things, like google maps, and dictionaries, websites and much more. Then in that, there are bad things, like hacks and viruses ... and just about anything so that greedy people could make money.
So what if we didn't have the internet? Well, there would not be hacks, but then also, a lot of things, like big businesses, and banks would not exist.
So would it be good or bad, if the internet didn't exist? Well, there is good, and bad in everything. Like I said before it's only worth it if the good outweighs the bad.
