What if it Work?
What if We Had Personal Robots?
What if it Works?
Wouldn't just be great to have a humanoid robot doing your laundry? Or cleaning the house, or just doing whatever you tell them to do?
Most people are probably waiting for that day to come. How accurate do you think personal robots would be anyway? I mean their Siri, she only gets what you're saying half the time, it's basically like you're talking to a three-year-old.
I mean all these new inventions are great and all, they'll probably get more accurate as we go in time. How long would we have to wait, though?
They have automated army robots, and drones, but still, that's not humanoid. Though that's one step to the personal robots, but what if someday, we do have personal robots? What would happen then?
Well, one thing for sure, they would not have weapons like the army robots, because then somebody could command, or hack the robot to attack somebody. Thus, starting the era of people using robots to take over the world. Now we don't want that to happen, do we?
Still, what if they don't have guns or swords, anything could be used as a weapon. Like, for example, somebody could hack a personal robot to strangle its owner with its metal hands. There are lots of ways hackers could hack the robot and make it do bad things.
While it would be awesome, and cool, to have personal robots, the robots should be hack proof.
I'm not talking about personal robots, I'm talking about even today with cars, let's say. There was this car company that hired a team of hackers to see if their cars were hack-proof. Turns out they were not.
The hackers got good control of the cars, and were able to drive it, and do anything with it. They didn't have to go into the car. They got into the system and hacked it. The government quickly made sure that would never happen again, and rechecked everything, making everything safe.
You see what I'm saying? This could happen with personal robots. So before anyone comes out with those robots, they should make sure it's safe.
