What if We Can't Smell.

What if it Works?

Right now there are certain things he can't smell. No really. Try smelling your body. Any luck?

Maybe if you put your nose really close to your body, and you haven't showered in a week (ahem!) Then the answer may be yes.

But we're not talking about that. We're talking about what if we can't smell at all?

That could change some things. First of all your brain. Yes, your brain uses your nose to find out certain things.

For example, if you smell blood in a building your brain should usually tell you to run.

If you can't smell you'll be dead.

So let's imagine the world like that? One easier thing for murders. That means more security, which means more tension. (Thank you for letting me emphasize.)

But that's just one of the things that could happen. Imagine what else could happen?

Not smelling people.

No really. Imagine what would happen if we would never smell that smell of your grandma's house. Or if a baby would never be able to smell that mother's smell.

Certain things we wouldn't be able to recognize.

So a world like that would be different...

So are there any good things about not being able to smell? Maybe. First of all, we wouldn't be able to smell bad smells. But then again we would never be warned about bad things.

So would it be good not being able to smell bad things? At first glance, it seems amazing. Now you could take the garbage out!

But then what if we never smell say dog poop, and step right into it with noticing?

That reminds me. Then we would be able the chase away skunks. If we can't smell, they're defenseless.

Poor skunk. That means if we can't smell skunks would die.

So that's just some of the things that could happen. Is it good or bad? What do you think?

Let others know in the new poll!
