What if We Lived On Mars?
What if it Works?
Yes, we all know NASA want's to send us to Mars. But how would it be like? We're sure NASA knows the complications as well as the advantages to this.
But what are the complications? Well, first things first. Mars has weather. It also has an atmosphere. That looks like rust.
This is all the reasons, that NASA says life is livable on Mars. But the weather could also be bad for us.
Let's take a look at the pros and cons of living on Mars.
1. What we would think it would be like?
Ok, so what NASA does know, is that due to Mars thin atmosphere, everything is cold. Not just cold freezing
The advantage is - hold your breath -
-60 C (-80 F)
Ok, so that's cold.
But it could get worse than that. In the poles, it's -125 C (-195 F)
Also, because of Mars atmosphere, it does snow. But you wouldn't be building a snowman on Mars anytime soon because they turn into vapor before they hit the ground.
As of now, we do not know how NASA would protect their astronauts from the cold. But that's not just that. It's something that would happen before we even step on the red planet.
Landing.
It's a combination of things. The rusty terrain. The pressure. The radiation. But we could do it. And we had.
NASA goes there all the time. But when humans actually go to Mars they have to be really careful. Lots of lives would be in the hands of NASA.
But what would happen once we get out there, build, and eventually live there?
That's something else.
If we go outside, it would be a whole long process. We need to make sure we properly protected and then were this huge spacesuit.
It wouldn't be an enjoyable moment.
So we would probably want to live inside. Furtonetly NASA is doing the best they can to make the buildings look like outside terrains on Earth.
So inside might feel outside too.
That's good.
2. What it would be like?
Ok so now that we got that all down. Let's Imagine building a population on Mars. We might make a totally different style of building on Mars.
That would be amazing.
What if we got major building companies to build towers, skyscrapers, personal houses, hotels, and more on Mars?
But what if we would be able to change the Martian atmosphere, and make it weather that we're used to like on Earth?
Another good thing.
So after all this information, what Good or Bad?
What do you think?
