What if We Didn't Need To Eat
What if it Works?
We know there are people with a disorder, that they can't taste anything. But have we ever heard of people who don't need to eat?
No.
That's because your body needs energy. It gets it from food.
But what if it didn't? What if we got energy from ... something else?
But then the big question comes in.
What?
1. What we would think it would be like?
To put it in simple terms our body gets energy from sugar.
That is to say, our food gets broken down into sugar.
So if we didn't need to eat that would mean we would get our energy from some other type of sugar right?
But then how would we get that sugar? Simple. What if our bodies could regenerate sugar like we regenerate blood?
That would make it so that we would need to eat.
Cool!
Wait so would that mean we don't need food? No. We would still be able to taste food. So why not just eat it to enjoy ourselves. But not to survive?
A win - win!
So what's the catch here?
2. What it would be like?
If we were only eating to enjoy ourselves that would mean less food right? Less food more storage. That seems good. But then what about all the farms?
Nobody would care about bread. Only about candy, pizza, and all the other foods that tastes good.
So that would mean the end of farmers.
But it would be a boost for candy and pizza shops. Because that would probably be the top food.
That means good news for the candy shops. And bad news for the farmers.
Maybe the farmer would have to join the candy man.
Food would be a type of product, rather than a need. That would be interesting.
We also wouldn't need to spend time on breakfast, launch, and supper. That means more time in the day.
The fact that we wouldn't need food to survive seems to be a big positive.
Not quite. If we start eating too much candy unhealthy things could start happening. Who said that we still wouldn't get sick from food?
We would still have to watch not to eat too much bad food.
So it would be either eat junk food. Or no food.
Sounds good to me.
