What if There Was No Atmosphere?

What if it Works?

No atmosphere means no sky. It also means that we wouldn't be able to grow anything. It means no life.

Even water can't exist in space.

It's kinda hard to imagine, looking up at the sky and just seeing ... well, space. On any other planet, it would be fine. But here on Earth?

In fact, Earth wouldn't even be called Earth. With no sky, everything would die. Would we be able to even live on Earth? Or would we go
instinct?

Let's see.

1. What we would think it would be like?

First off. The sun wouldn't look yellow. Just very, very bright white. I mean it's not like you ever looked at the sun, but it's very bright in general.

The sun would also be a lot hotter. Because there would be nothing to protect us from it.'

There would also be no gravity on Earth. Which means we would all have to be wearing spacesuits to protect us from the sun, and the gravity.

How crazy is that?

2. What it would be like?

Interesting. I mean we could still have life on Earth. Just inside. Like living on Mars. But like I said before, how many people want that? Well, nobody want's it, but they'll have to.

It would be even worse than living on Mars. Because with Mars, at least we'll have plants and food. But here all the plants and food would die.

So how would we live? Big question. But maybe then humans could start producing their own energy, like in What if it Work? #44.

Well, technically they could go outside. But there wouldn't be anything there. Just dead Earth.

But the good thing about this is one thing. Technology. If everything is inside, then there would have to be a ton of buildings.

We wouldn't need to worry about pollution because the atmosphere is already gone.  Maybe the whole Earth would just be one big building.

What do you think?
