What if it Work? What if We Wrote Fifty What if it Works?

What if We Wrote Fifty What if it Works?

What if it Works?

Wouldn't that be cool? Oh wait - we did - so I suppose this is not really a real What if it Work? But it's kind of awesome that we did it!

Over the past few months, What if it Work? Has grown a lot.

If you had stayed from the very beginning, you would see what I mean.

For example, this is my very first post.

-------------------------------------------------------

What if it Work?
What if we Could Live on Clouds?
What if it Works?

It would probably be the coolest thing ever, I would probably be scared at first but then after that, I would start exploring the clouds. I wonder if aliens really live on clouds, or if plants can grow on clouds if we could grow plants on clouds, that would be so cool.
I wonder how the whole democracy would work if we lived in clouds, I mean how to you split up territory? "Ok people, you live on this cloud, I live on that cloud -- oh man it's raining!" If we lived on clouds territory grounds would be terrible.

That also brings another question: What happens when it is raining? I mean if we are on a raining cloud, especially one that's thundering, let's look at the problems: Besides that fact that we would be soaked to our skin because were IN the rain, we would have to seek shelter to another could before the cloud that's raining, totally disintegrates.

We would also have to make buildings, and if the cloud rains, then what? This is what, the buildings would fall down to the ground.
Also, if we would be able to live on clouds, would that mean we would be able to walk on water, and gasses? Would that mean we would be able to walk on the gas planet of Jupiter? Probably yes.
Still, besides the fact that it would be cool, is it really worth it to live on clouds, as opposed to the ground and earth?

I think that even though it would be cool, the fact that clouds rain, and then disintegrate, shows that it's not the best idea to live on clouds.

What if There Was Only One Dimension?

What if it Works?

We live in a three-dimensional world. I'm sure you know, but just in case. If you're new to this world, I mean in knowledge, I would probably tell you that those dimensions are length, width, and height. Reference to your ruler.

But what if there was only one dimension. That means all there would be is length.

So take away the width and the height.

Everything shrinks, right? What are you left with? This:

This is by far way too boring. If there's life on the first dimension wouldn't you think it would be kind of tiring?

You're really just staring at a line every day.

But does it have to be?

Let's see.

1. What we would think it would be like?

We can't draw the first dimension. It's just seemingly impossible.

Why? Simple, we can't draw a real line. Any line we draw would have some height to it. We can draw the thinnest that we can, but in the end, if we look at it through a microscope, we could see it has a ton of width.

But we still could have some type of a mental picture in our head of what a real line would be. If you can't just try to picture a very very thin line.

Now, let's imagine a life like that. Like we said before. Boring. But at What if it Work? We have to get creative.

The whole world doesn't have to be one big line. It could be a bunch of lines, with a space to separate them.

So let's say each of these lines
could be a house. We can even go further, and try to make these lines smaller, or we could do something else.

Patterns. Even in the first dimension, we can make patterns. With a bunch of lines at different lengths. We can even go further, by increasing or decreasing the space between the lines.

Fanciness in the first dimension. How cool is that?

2. What it would be like?

Okay so now that we see how the first dimension isn't really that boring. Let's Imagine life in the first dimension with this new view.

What would we do with these patterns?

They could be houses or mansions. Depending on however long we make it.

In the third dimension, the house is measured by size and design. What would be size in the first dimension?

Length. The longer it is the better. For design? Like we said before.

Still wouldn't it be better to live in the first dimension? Obviously. But the first dimension doesn't really seem so boring after all. Right?

What do you think?

(Next: Celebrating Fifty What if it Works?)

------------------------------

So the difference? I'm sure lots of people do.

For one, there's no color in the first post. Also, the headings changed. The font too. If you realized, another big thing we've done was adding pictures. Bigger font, and so on.

Nobody has been planning on changing the What if it Works? It just happened. And I'm sure that it'll happen again.

Well, see in the next fifty What if it Works?

You'll see that the What if it Work? Site changed a little bit too. And speaking of that, you'll see it change today too. What it's going to be? I think you could guess.
