What if There Was No Technology?

What if it Works?

Intro
-------------

We depend on technology for our lives. Seriously. We could live without it, but we just choose not to. For example, about six years ago, phones weren't such a big thing. YouTube, wasn't a major company until about 15 years ago.

All this technology is recent, and it's getting into our faces so quickly.

Why?

Well, technology isn't a new thing. It was invented years ago. Cameras were invented in 1816. It was just introduced very slowly, where it began to develop into what we know it as today.

What about the first computer? 1938.

Crazy huh? All these things were made a very long time ago, and were only introduced later on. Even now, there's so much new technology that we don't even know about that would be introduced to us in the next 50 - 100 years from now.

What about the first phone? That was made in 1876, but that's not the phone was talking about. In fact, phones today are used for so many things other than talking, that nobody even knows why it's called a phone.

the first smartphone. (It's not that smart yet,) was made in 1992. Don't believe that?

Here's proof:

Okay, so all these technology things were made long ago then you thought.

1. What we would think it would be like?

Confusing. What would people do? Yes, we'll get used to it, but we're so stuck in technology, that we can't even remember what it would be like without it.

Not just remember, we don't even know what it would be like without technology. It's kind of crazy if you think about it.

Imagine waking, without the clock by your bed. We wouldn't be able to tell the time. Even standard clocks use batteries.

So there would be no time.

Food would go out too. Farmers produce food with machines to cut or pick the produce, everything would be delayed with that. And how about packaging it? We need machines for that. But what if those machines were gone?

Not only that, but you also have no lights. Because all the light bulbs would go out. Well, at least candles would go back in style. Wait. How would we buy the candles, we don't have cars. How do we produce them without machines?

So no transportation, no light, no time, and even no food.

That doesn't seem so good.

2. What it would be like?

People would have to start making things homemade for the time being. But if you just think about it it's amazing how the world changed in the past one hundred years. And we're still talking about the future. We'll never live in the future because the future is not the present
But eventually, people would get on our feet, like literally, at first, we would have to do everything on a horse.

The horse drivers pay would go up.

So that could be good. But nothing would replace cars.

We'll find our way to make food without machines to. Just everything would take a very long time.

What do you think? Would it be good or bad?
