What if Everything Was Blue
What if it Works?
Intro
-------------
Blue. A very eye-catching color for lots of people. The sky is blue, the water is blue. Blue seems to be a part of nature.
What if everything was blue?
Yes, blue seems like a light and comfortable color? Although would we really want everything to be blue? If everything was one color, that would be boring. We would probably get sick of the color in a second.
Right?
1. What we would think it would be like?
If everything were blue, what would be the difference between the sky, the water, and everything else? Would there be a difference?
Imagine if we were blind. Who cares if everything black and white? You can't see colors in the first place! Who cares if it day or night? Light or dark? It's all the same.
It would only look different if we could see. That would be a different story.
2. What it would be like?
Blue is not just a nice color. It's what helps us define things. Let's pick a type of food for example. Blueberries. There are many foods that may look like blueberries. Grapes, cranberries, nuts. Although, we could tell the difference just by looking at them. They aren't blue.
So what if they were blue? That would mean we would be eating things without really knowing what we're eating in the first place. We would take blue grapes, think it's blueberries, taste it, and spit it right out.
Blue grapes (Not blueberries)
That would be horrible! When we look at things and combine it with taste, smell, touch, and sound, we perceive it differently. When round, blue food we think blueberries.
So we would have to get used to the idea of food being blue. Then how could we tell the difference between a blueberry or not? We can't.
A lot of our senses would go dull. We probably wouldn't even want to see the same exact color everywhere at all. Would you want to even see anymore? Probably not, we would just put up a blindfold on our heads, and just live like that.
