What if Book Pages Were Thin Computer Screens?

What if it Works?

Intro

-------------
Right now, books are made with paper, that comes from wood. Although, lots of people want technology, kindles, nooks, and those things are selling more than physical books.

So what if books weren't just paper with a cover? What if the pages were actually computer screens, the looked, and felt like paper?

What would be the point of that? Simple. You could highlight things, write notes, and do all the things you could on nooks, and tablets. This, although would be different, nooks are just one computer screen simulating a book. Here, though, this would be a book. Just with computer screens.

What we think it would be like?

Computer screens today, are starting to get thinner and thinner, we if they get so thin, that we'll be able to bend them? If they get that thin, then we could bind them up, and make them as pages.

Then we could send media, and code into those screens and make it look like a real book. The problem?

Would people really want that? Imagine if you opened up a book, touched the pages, and va-la! Animation happens on the pages before your eyes. You could highlight words with your finger, have a conversation with the book, and do lots of things!

We could get really creative here!

Would people think it would be practical? What happens if the books get's water damaged? Then somebody would touch the book, get electrocuted because it's electricity, get sent to the hospital, and sue the author. Things would be pretty bad then.

So we could make it waterproof. Another thing. The price. How much would it cost, if we want to hire coders to make these things for our book? What about the cost of the screens itself?

Then again, the price might go down if we mass produce it.

So would it Work?

It still depends on if people are comfortable with keeping this technological book in their hands or pockets?

Then again, people are comfortable with keeping iPods, and whatnot in their pockets, or on their wrists. So maybe it would work. If it was affordable, that is.

What do you think?
